Accessibility
LifeHack OS is built so everyone can use it. Adjust the way the app looks and reads below — your choices are saved on this device and apply to every page. We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 AA.
Display and text
Make text larger and reduce visual strain across the whole app.
Text size
Readable font
Switches to a typeface designed for low vision and dyslexia.
Extra spacing
More room between lines and letters.
High contrast
Stronger contrast between text and background.
Reduce motion
Turns off animations and transitions.
Highlight links
Underlines every link so it is easy to spot.
Large cursor
Uses a bigger, easier to follow pointer.
Read aloud
Have any page read to you. Adjust the volume, speed and voice to suit you.
Keyboard and screen readers
- Press Tab to move forward through links, buttons and fields, and Shift + Tab to move back.
- Press Enter on a link, or Space on a button or switch, to activate it.
- The skip link at the very top of each page jumps straight to the main content.
- A visible outline shows exactly which element has focus at all times.
Every page uses landmarks and labelled controls so screen readers such as VoiceOver, NVDA and TalkBack can navigate it. Images carry descriptions, and forms label every field.
